Legal Help from SLLS

Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 12 noon

Attorneys from Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS) offer free legal aid every Tuesday from 10 AM- noon at the Community Center of St Bernard. Assistance is available for civil law matters such as consumer debt, bankruptcy, landlord-tenant, home ownership, family law, successions, public benefits, employment, tax, Road Home and FEMA appeals. Southeast Louisiana Legal Services has four full-time offices. All offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless closed by holiday or emergency. Please contact the nearest office first. Intake is usually done by appointment, except in emergencies or when service by telephone is needed.
